Hi — we're Ty & Tania.
We started Converge because we wanted a church we'd love to be part of, not just one we'd lead. We set out to find one we'd actually invite our friends, co-workers, and neighbors to — and kept landing on the same idea: a place where you don't have to clean yourself up first, pretend you've got it figured out, or check your questions at the door. Where the whole point is bringing your heart to Jesus, exactly as it is.
And we can't look away from what's around us. New Jersey is packed with people — driven, busy, generous, stretched thin — and so many are quietly searching for meaning, for purpose, for something real to build a life on. Some have never really known God; some walked away from church long ago but never stopped wondering. Either way, you can be surrounded by people here and still feel spiritually on your own. Union County needs a church that meets people right where they are — and we're convinced this is exactly where God has called us to serve, and to bring the hope of Jesus to the place we call home.
Between us we've spent years building things and serving people, and we're moving into Union County to do the most important build of our lives: a community where hope isn't a slogan and belonging comes before believing.
